You Can Do It
Our Worst Fear!

Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate; our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of god; your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of god within us. It is not just in some of us, it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates others.” (Nelson Mandela quoted Marianne Williamson at his inauguration)

Famous Failures:

Einstein was 4 years old before he could speak.

Isaac Newton did poorly in grade school and was considered "unpromising."

Beethoven’s music teacher once said of him "As a composer he is hopeless".

Thomas Edison’s grade school teacher told him he was too stupid to learn anything. He was counseled to go into a field where he might succeed by virtue of his pleasant personality.

F.W. Woolworth got a job in a dry goods store when was 21, but his employer would not permit him to wait on customers because he "didn’t have enough sense to close a sale."

Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team.

A Newspaper editor fired Walt Disney because he "lacked imagination and had no good ideas."

Winston Churchill failed the sixth grade and had to repeat it because he did not complete the tests that were required for promotion.

Babe Ruth struck out 1,300 times, a major league record.

A person may make mistakes, but isn’t a failure until he (or she) starts blaming someone else. We must believe in ourselves, and somewhere along the road of life, we must meet someone who sees the greatness in us, expects it from us, and lets us know it.

It Is The Golden Key To Success.

Stick it out!!

Keep going. You've come all this way, invested irreplaceable time. Don't stop now. Each moment brings you closer and closer to the success you desire. Each action ensures that you will get there that much sooner.

Have you ever wondered how many people give up when they are just a week, or a month away from finally succeeding? What a shame! What a waste!

Keep on going. Determination will prevail over any obstacle. Consistent effort will win out over genius, luck and talent. When things get difficult, it's probably because you're starting to make a difference. Continue doing it. Keep up the effort. You'll soon be there.
